1. Miami Dolphins vs. Washington Redskins, 1972, Super Bowl VII
The Miami Dolphins were coming off of a perfect regular season (16-0) when they faced the Washington Redskins in the 1972 Super Bowl. The Dolphins 1972 team featured Hall-of-Famers Nick Buoniconti, Larry Csonka, Larry Little, Bob Griese, Jim Langer and Paul Warfield. Under the guidance of legendary Dolphins coach Don Shula, the Dolphins defeated the Redskins 14-7 and became the first and only team to finish 17-0.
